Each listing is searchable by highway, business name, and city, and includes a splash page with details about your business, a photo, and a link to your website.

Q: Why do people use TripCheck?
A: TripCheck is used to plan road trips across Oregon. Two big reasons users keep coming back to TripCheck are the travel alerts, and road cams – lots of road cams.
Q: What is the purpose of TripCheck?
A: ODOT created the site to provide motorists with information which might affect their driving experience. From highway construction alerts to weather impacts, TripCheck keeps you connected to alternate routes and possible delays.
Q: How many visits does TripCheck get?
A: ODOT reports that TripCheck sees over 1.5 million visits per month, with more site hits in the winter and holiday travel season.
Q: Can Oregon Travel Experience track referral to my Website?
A: ODOT’s web trends reporting does not provide OTE with this style of analysis. However, remember that click-throughs (as well as top-referrers on your own website stats) will not be an accurate measure of the number of impressions a TripCheck listing makes. Not all TripCheck users who view your listing detail page will click through to your website. Using Google Analytics may help your marketing team to determine if your listings are producing new customers, and is a free web data collection service offered by Google.
Q: How do TripCheck users find my business listing?
A: As with all well-designed websites, there is more than one path to your listing page. For example, a TripCheck user planning a trip to Oregon’s north coast might first check the road cams in that region, then click the blue “i” icon to see what services are available. Or, they might also click the travel center tab, and subsequently click the area of the map they’ll be driving to.
Q: How much is a TripCheck listing through OTE?
A: TripCheck listings are $150 per year, per business.
