Sign Programs

Oregon Travel Experience serves both local businesses and the larger business community through our logo and directional signs. Showcasing your brand to the motoring public is vital to business identity. OTE signs carry a unique, timely, and credible endorsement to motorists. In many instances, highway signs help form a visitor’s first impressions of Oregon and are a reflection of the local communities in which they exist. For example, tourist oriented directional (or TODs for short!) signs help steer highway traffic to your glassblowing studio or micro-brewery. Oregon Travel Experience can help decide if you qualify for a TOD. We also can help your community find out if a museum or historical site sign is right for your city or town. Our program staff will be happy to demonstrate innovative ways to help grow and sustain your business.

Rest Area Information Kiosks

OTE operates information centers within 12 heavily used rest areas across Oregon. These open and inviting kiosks provide millions of travelers with valuable information help make the most of their Oregon travel experience.

Motorists will find attractive illuminated panel advertisements from area hotels, restaurants, wineries, golf courses, museums, and other attractions. In addition, most kiosks feature brochure display racks which can be combined with a back-lit panel, or separately. Finally, kiosks offer a special poster display for local convention and visitors bureaus or Chambers of Commerce.

Rest area kiosk displays reach millions of travelers 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For more information, including kiosk locations and rates, please contact us.

Travel Plazas

A Travel Plaza is a conveniently located regional hub of motorist and visitor information. For example, at Woodburn Company Stores Travel Plaza, a series of colorful back lit panels showcase local attractions and visitor services. Flower farms, wineries, museums, and travel-related agencies all benefit from well-trafficked outlet mall exposure. At the Best Western Plus Millcreek Inn (just off I-5 in Salem, Oregon), the plaza is located within the hotel; travel information and brochures point the way to local businesses and regional events. Motorists can discover that perfect place to rest and refresh.
