Lost female shepherd mixDid you arrive home on Saturday and find you were missing something important? If you stopped at northbound French Prairie Rest Area on I-5, is it possible that your canine best friend strayed?

Oregon Travel Experience Rest Area Specialist Kurt Valdez reports that staff discovered a dog wandering the rest area grounds on Saturday, November 1st. The dog, a female blonde senior shepherd mix, was held at the OTE supervisor’s office for several hours. Valdez hoped that the dog’s owner would come forth.

“Unfortunately no one came to the office and reported a missing dog,” said Valdez. “She was surrendered to the Clackamas County Animal Control.”

If you recognize this sweetheart, please contact the Clackamas County Dog Services at 503-655-8628.
