  • Memaloose, Milepost 73, east and westbound
  • Stanfield, Milepost 187, east and westbound
  • Charles Reynolds, Milepost 269, east and westbound
  • Baker Valley, Milepost 295, east and westbound
  • Weatherby, Milepost 336, east and westbound

Currently (2012), Oregon Travel Experience manages rest areas at the following locations:

  • Baldock, north and southbound
  • Santiam, north and southbound
  • Manzanita, north and southbound
  • Boardman, east and westbound (I-84)
  • Ontario, westbound (I-84)
  • Government Camp (OR Hwy. 26)
  • Tillamook (US Hwy. 101)

We are thrilled to begin coffee service in the new rest areas coming on line in 2013. I look forward to helping even more nonprofits through the permit process. We have prepared for our new servers by updating the coffee permit application. (If you would like to apply, please download the application.)

The rest area Free Coffee Program is a service sponsored by nonprofit organizations in the interest of public safety. If you are a visitor to our state, or even an experienced commuter, you should stop and visit with our knowledgeable volunteers; you’ll often learn things about the surrounding community you wouldn’t know otherwise. And, you’ll be able to stretch your legs and refresh for the next part of your drive.

We encourage new groups to apply, as it is a very easy process. I am here to help guide you in filling out the application and setting up for the first time. Once you have been approved, your non-profit organization will be awarded a spot on the schedule.
