Part two: Traveling with your dog

Continuing with our road-trip tips in anticipation of the Fourth of July: remember that your furry friend is vulnerable not only to anxiety over new surroundings and crowds, but that rest areas can be overwhelming to many canines. Cars and big trucks constantly move in and out of parking lots, making it difficult to maintain safety for an unleashed pet, which is why we do ask that you maintain leashed control of Fido.
