Deadman Pass Rest Area

On I-84 at mile post 228.

Emigrants crossed the Blue Mountains during August, September, or October. The mountains’ steep slopes caused many accidents—wagons sometimes crashed to the bottom of hills, injuring livestock and emigrants. From this pass, emigrants saw the vast and desolate Columbia Plateau stretching westward and, if the weather was clear, some were able to see the Cascades—the last mountain range the emigrants faced.

Lost & Found?
Around noon on 11/28/15. I lost a cell phone (beat up flip phone) and a stainless steel flask at the deadman pass rest stop. Is there anyway to get that back if it gets turned in?

Thanks, MH
